Why business skills are important for creative profiles? For me, personally, it’s a simple answer, I wanted to be an artist, even tried to, but I lack talent. So acquiring and developing business skills was the only way for me to be a part of the industry I loved. In general, though, I think people in entertainment and music business – or at least the people I know – be it artists or not, have learned the tips & tricks by trial and error, by experience, by self educating and not so much in school or being taught. But I have to say it would have been nice to have a go at this industry after learning a thing or two the easy way :)
